I've heard a quote along these lines: There is no limit to how much
good one can do when one doesn't conditionalize their actions on
receiving credit.

It is just too bad that evolution (and culture) has set us up to need
food, water (these days), power, control, security, identiity, love,
compasion, community,  ....  or maybe that is a good situation that we
are in.

In the end, it is my persuasion that the human mind is too feeble to
predict wether society would be better off in X decades if it adopted
copyright/patent policy A compared to policy B.  And even if it could
predict future states, implementing the other policy may lead the
prefered state in Y decades.

Well, with this post, I've reached my monthly BS quota.
