So what do you believe? What is the best course of action?

Problem: media producers using copy-protected media, and your media
breaks. The producers demand that you buy a new copy instead of
replacing it.

How do you solve that one, without 1) buying a new one (passive
acceptance) 2) refuse to buy a new one (passive acceptance) 3) tossing
moltov cocktails at the media producers headquarters (bloody conflict).

The above is _far_ from an exhaustive list. Think of a book repository
and a sniper rifle outside of the CEO's house or office.
