I subscribed to a non-work related list using my work email. This
was before I knew better. I could be fired for using company resources
for personal activities.

So what is so wrong with wanting my work email address removed?

If you want to retain thread integrity put its md5sum in its place.
be
rofl. If you can get fired for that, quit. THe place you're working for is fucked up. I don't buy this one for an instant.

Not to mention, you do know how trivially easy it is to spoof an email header, right? If I wanted all of my emails to look like it came from your work address, I could make it so in 10 seconds. So your protection method there is approximately zip.
