I guess you chose erp5 because of its Zope base. I am familiar with
Compiere <http://www.compiere.org/> but never got around to implementing
it. It is based on J2EE, which probably makes it difficult for some people
to develop, but it has good documentation and is well supported. In fact,
there is going to be a training seminar here in San Diego from 27 Feb - 3
Mar '06.
