No, I have to confess I didn't check if they were counterfeit, or even
consider it at the time.

All the Cruzer drives that gave me the bad taste were bought from Fry's
last year some time.  I think I just pitched mine, but two other guys
took their's back and exchanged for a  different brand. Don't know what
happened to the fourth.

Surely, Fry's wouldn't sell counterfeit drives ... or would they (they
were on sale very cheap) ?
