I'm entering the computer music ans sound world maybe 8 years late :*) I have read that modern CD players can directly play mp3's, but I have no idea how to burn them onto a CD so that the player can so do. I've been converting them into wav's (lame --decode) and making CDs from those with excellent results, but the advantages of the compressed format can't be ignored.
