Friend of mine deleted her entire photo collection (or rather, the shoddy
software from a local online photo service did) and asked me for help.
So I thought I fire up Knoppix and look out for a util to do the recovery.

After some googling I came to think there *are* no linux tools for recovering
deleted files on fat/ntfs.

Am I right here or does someone know better?

("seek and repair 700 files by hex editing the fat or mft" is not an option")
