Yes, windoze is a predatory OS. I have had success with the following: 1. I use Linux fdisk to change all Linux partitions to type 0 2. I do the win98 install 3. Win 98 says "you have too much space marked unusable and I seriously doubt it." I cross my fingers behind my back and swear I'm telling the truth 4. Win 98 installs, grumbling all the while 5.
