It might use another location when you do it during install. I have
always found this to be a dangerous idea. I install, and then patch. You
are using YOU when you do the patch installation during installation, so
I would run a "find / -iname you"

The update during install did not update everything. So I am now
running YaST, clicking on "Online Update" which I guess is also called
YOU. Get the same "/ is nearly full" message. So I am trying to do
the updating in smaller steps. This time I did not check "Remove
Source Packages after Update" thinking I could find where they went.
I can not.

So now there is stuff in the file system that I don't really need,
can't find, and don't know how to get rid of.

Incidentally, "# find / -iname you -print" finds nothing.
"# find / -iname you\* -print" finds the following, note /opt -> /data/opt
/data/opt/kde3/share/doc/HTML/en/khelpcenter/userguide/your-kde-account.docbook
/usr/share/YaST2/locale/en_US/LC_MESSAGES/you-server.mo
/usr/share/YaST2/scrconf/you_password.scr
/usr/share/YaST2/scrconf/you_config.scr
/usr/share/YaST2/data/you_layout.ycp

This doesn't seem pertinent. I could take the Misoft approach and
reinstall the OS, since this is really just a learning experience at
the moment. This would take about a full 8-hour day with the 300MHz
CPU I am using.
