Yeah, I noticed. I just hate that particular style of fix.
I'm sure it's just as accessible on the Net.
I'm on dial-up, and it takes weeks for the Ubuntu people to send out a free CD.
The magazine runs about $12, but I didn't see $12 worth of info in that issue. The magazine seemed to be aimed at newbies and desktop users. It seems to carry less practical and tech articles now than it did only a few months ago. I figured $12 was more than I wanted to pay for one disc, and a magazine I won't get anything out of.
