I use the free version of Perforce

Do you use their gui interface, or have you tried it?

If so, I'm wondering how easy/useful it might be for users who are
unsophisticated in scm concepts.

I use it on a regular basis at work. Both Linux and Windows GUIs. I like it. Haven't used the web interface yet, but I've used p4v in Windows and Linux and p4win in Windows.

The latest version has some enhancements I want to try.

I'm moving to a new project next week, sadly, the Principal Engineer is the same one who introduced Perforce into my current project, so I have no chance of ditching it :(
