I'm moving to a new project next week, sadly, the Principal Engineer is the same one who introduced Perforce into my current project, so I have no chance of ditching it :(

What don't you like about P4?

I think my gripes about P4 are in the archives somewhere, the last time this SCM was brought up.

My main ones are :
o can't put versions or labels in the client spec.
o can't have the same file sync'd to different locations in the same client

AFAIK, the only way to make versions "stick" is to branch them so that the client-spec will only sync from that branch, and so long as you don't update that branch (by locking the spec), it won't get changed. But branching is a PITA as well !
