Lest we forget ...

... wives who (quite rightly IMHO) choose to keep their maiden name as
their last name (Gregory solved that one neatly). We are Lan Barnes and
Janet Lunn. It's not the mail to Janet Barnes or even the occasional
mail to Lan Lunn that bothers me, but who decided to address her as
Barnes Lunn (whole address line, I swear)?

Don't even start me on the permutations of "Lan."

It's funny that Bush and his clan whine about the cost of providing
social services to illegal aliens, but are willing to roll out the
humanitarian-speak when it comes to spending it on Iraqis who don't
even live here.

I can't for the life of me imagine what self-consistent underlying
philosophy could produce these two viewpoints, except "war is fun and
