It would seem that acronyms fall into this category, and as such, I always use the form PC's, CD's, etc. I really don't worry about the possessive form as I figure context will make it clear
   The MPAA's ethics suck worse than mine.

Well, well. Looks like I used evidence to support your case rather than mine. That'll teach me to actually read what I read before I write what I wrote.
