unrtf seems to support translation to postScript, HTML, LaTeX, etc... but no ASCII or UTF-8 :-(
As I should have tested this before my last response, I went to check it out for myself. It does indeed work. It writes to stdout, so I did "unrtf --text filename.rtf > filename.txt -Mike -- [email protected] http://www.kernel-panic.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/kplug-list
