Go ask the Canadian doctors that come to the US so they can practice
medicine instead of a government sponsored HMO.

The single payer, universal, government-provided system is broken and
citizens to the north are slowly coming around to the idea that utopia
just might not exist afterall.
Ask the 10s of millions of AMericans who have no insurance and can't see a
doctor. Ask the millions bankrupt by medical bills. Ask the senior
citizens who can't afford their prescriptions. Undoubtedly the canadian
system can be improved, but its a hell of a lot better than no system at
all.
