Interesting, then, that the announcement for the latest version of Mono,
which came after this announcement, mentioned that Mono now supports
Windows Forms. Previously, Mono people had said they'd never support
Windows Forms because of the proprietary and restricted nature of the APIs.
Wow. I thought I was close to the mark, but that sure looks like a
smoking gun to me.
Personally, if I ever needed a solid reason to avoid C#, that seals it.
