Also, and nobody has mentioned this, it really is a lousy job market right
now (not that there are any prospects for it improving), and that is
reflected in salaries ... and raises.
Thats not my read at the moment. Lots of companies hiring, lots of jobs
open out there. Not the .com boom type of market, but a good solid one.
