I would like a graphical user interface to ps. Something akin to
hitting Ctrl-Alt-Delete on a running Windows system, but it doesn't at
all have to be like that. Like maybe I'd hit Alt-F2 and type
'graphical-ps' and Enter and I'd get something.

Does such exist?

Mainly, I want to a) sometimes see what's taking how much CPU/memory,
and 2) kill a process without opening a terminal window and looking
for the process and kill pid.

I just installed OpenDict and I'm trying to load various dictionaries
off of a remote server. While attempting to load the Latin to English
dictionary the program hanged (hung?). Repeated attempts to close the
program (I'm in KDE) do not give me the nice kill-program dialog box
that Gnome usually gives me. But it's often that I would like a
graphical ps.
