No idea whether I got the best price and have the most reliable, trouble
free, etc., router, but the Linksys WRT54GX2 I got from Fry's seems to
work ok with
my triple boot [ Ubuntu 6.10 | Fedora Core 6 | Windows XP ] laptop,
the [Windows XP] laptop my company gave me,
and a Macintosh [OS X], both wirelessly and wired.
I think I can only implement 64-bit encryption with Linux.
For some reason, the VPN from the company I work at doesn't connect
through the router.

Fedora Core 6 took me (and a few of the local installfest gurus) quite a
while to recognize my wireless adapter, but I think the problem wasn't
on the router side.

This information is just anecdotal, I presume.
