News to me. We put a Netgear NIC into one customer's machine, but nothing that 
said "RangeMax" in particular tho I've seen NICs that carry such a suffix in 
their name. 
Switchign from a crappy d-Link to the RangeMax brought a signficant 
improvement tho.

Don't know about the situation over there in your parts, but as soon as you 
go "parabolic" you blow the allowed EIRP and the device becomes illegal to 
toperate - at least here in .de.
