The key to avoiding upgrades is to disavow use of IE or other MS software such 
as IIS and other software that rely on MS protocols.  There is no reason to 
upgrade beyond Windows 2000 if you avoid MS software. The problem is that most 
shops get hooked into using Outlook and then they realize that they need 
Exchange, VB and AD and IIS.  The problem with this is that Windows makes use 
of procedural attachments, which is the mixing code with data. As a result 
companies are forced to deal with endless security issues.

Maybe, but at least they wait for the respin. Why beta for M$?
