As some other people have said, you need to define your problem and tell what kind of cluster you want. Because of the confusion, I wrote a page some time ago on my web site http://www.linuxgeek.net/Clusters/ It may help you decide what kind of cluster you want. If it's HPC you want to build I suggest OSCAR. I once did a 84 node cluster alone in half a day using OSCAR. It's changed since then, but I'm sure it has most of the tools that you need for an HPC. -- Neil Schneider pacneil_at_linuxgeek_dot_net http://www.paccomp.com Key fingerprint = 67F0 E493 FCC0 0A8C 769B 8209 32D7 1DB1 8460 C47D A banker is a fellow who lends you his umbrella when the sun is shining, but wants it back the minute it begins to rain. - Mark Twain -- KPLUG-List@kernel-panic.org http://www.kernel-panic.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/kplug-list
