If I were you, I'd go out and get a surplus CO2 or N2 tank from a welding store and the various regulators necessary to run such a tank, and use it to blow out your equipment instead. You have much less chance of causing static electricity and won't get any of the nasty condensation or oil or whatever from a tank like that.
