I find it amusing that some believe that Catholics are not Christians -
since they were the ONLY Christians from the early 300's until the 1500's
that means that what they are calling Christianity is only a mere 500 years
old.
Actually, I find this quite often. As I said in my first post - I was born
into this type of life, but fortunately I outgrew it. 60+ years of intense
study in ALL areas of History and Comparative Religions will do that to
you - but you MUST study ALL sides of the issue, not take someones word for
what to believe.
I think that the main reason that so many people are Christians is that they
are afraid of death, some with good reason considering their lives, and this
idea of instant redemption gives them hope of escaping punishment for their
transgressions. The idea of living in paradise is attractive to some - it
would bore the Hell out of me.

Regarding "Stone fags.", Todd is confusing Christian teachings with laws
given (in the Bible) by God to the Jewish nation.
Regarding "Spear Muslims.", I think Todd is confusing Christianity with
Catholicism. The Crusades were not Christian. They were Catholic (even
though the Catholics claim to be Christian, and indeed some of them are).
So, in summary, Todd /thinks/ he knows what Christian teachings are, but
clearly does not.
