You suffer for the decisions of corporate behemoths whether you work
there or not.
I believe the original quote was, "You can live under US domestic policy
or US foreign policy. Which do you prefer?"

I agree completely. But there is a difference between being an
employee and being a customer, even an unwilling one. Perhaps
you do not understand the distinction.
My analogy has always been similar to what you state. G. W. Bush
is the President. My Mexican friends say, "Not mine." I say, "You just
did not get to vote."
Still, if you choose to be an employee of a large firm then you
should know what to expect. Don't expect a guy like me, who
has always eschewed that choice, often at substantial financial
cost, to find be impressed by your whining.
