Probably, but you're likely going to have to do some significant hacking on the Linux environment.

You're probably going to have to blow away the entire environment and start from something like FreeLink (which is a full Debian install). Especially for Subversion as it requires The Universe(tm).

Powerwise, it's probably okay for any of that, although Git is probably going to be friendlier to it than Subversion. With Subversion, everybody *must* hit the server. With Git, they only need to touch the server when they choose to.

As always, I'm going to give you that standard warning about Git. Mercurial and Git are roughly speaking, equivalent. However, the Mercurial guys are more responsible about supporting Windows, too.
