It isn't *intended* for end users but that doesn't mean you
can't use it as such right?  You made it sound like only gateways
could connect to it.  What is stopping any mobile web appliance from
acting like a WiMax "gateway" then?

If I want to offer wifi to a condo complex why would I want to install
802.11 repeaters all over the place if I can just blast WiMax instead?
(Assuming in future WiMax is cheap and the hardware abounds.)
