Yes. I actually used the references from the previous response and manually built the .deb. So, I unpacked, applied the HPN patch, built, created the .deb, and installed.
Unfortunately, Debian is behind. Even in unstable. As usual. Consequently, I had to use one of the older HPN patches.
Where did you get the patch? I am looking for patches/packages for both Debian and Fedora. Is this where you got the patch from: <http://www.psc.edu/networking/projects/hpn-ssh/>

HPN includes a "no crypto" flag; that was my primary reason for digging it out. You have to be running HPN on both sides of the link for it to work, though.
