Earlier today I had a power outage on my network. Usually I can reboot everything and I am good to go. Today, however, one of the boxes will not reestablish connection. I am left suspecting a hardware failure.
I had something similar happen to me one time. After a power outage I'll be damned if the computer just would not connect using its built-in jack. I had DSL at the time, so it was a little more straightforward than with cable. And besides, I also had a clock that couldn't keep time, so I was pretty sure it was hardware failure. About four months later the problems fixed themselves. The clock and the jack started working again. -todd -- [email protected] http://www.kernel-panic.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/kplug-list
