It's *led*. Past tense of the verb "to lead". No relation to the noun
"lead" which has an atomic symbol of Pb.
At least get it right when you put it in emphasis.

Me too, especially when I hear such stupidity as "Would you like to go
with Christy and I?"! Such grammatical garbage! Grammatically that's
the same as saying "Would you like to go with we?"!
