The Iphone is a very well engineered product, but it lacks some features to be considered a business tool. It's amazing how responsive the Iphone is. One big downside is how slow the AT&T edge network is. The edge network only runs 200kbps. I was trying the Iphone at the Apple store and supposedly the IPhone is Wifi capable.
I find it irritating that the iphone has no USB port so I can use a external keyboard. The other big downside is how Apple is limit 3rd party software to run on the Ipod. The security argument is lame. If Apple were to run a operating environment like Java then there would be no issue to begin with. So I think I will wait until the Sun Jphone comes out (http://gizmodo.com/gadgets/java-phone/suns-javafx-hopes-to-give-cellphones-an-extra-kick-258569.php ). I suppose I sound a bit negative, but I am still irritated at Apple for breaking it's promise to deliver CHRP (Comon hardware reference platform http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Common_Hardware_Reference_Platform ) compliant systems -- KPLUG-List@kernel-panic.org http://www.kernel-panic.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/kplug-list
