Thanks, Lan, your email has given me an idea.
If it wouldn't be too much trouble, would all those who expressed
interest in helping out the NCAS Linux class please send me a list of
topics on which you are most comfortable or enthusiastic about
teaching. Judging from their work at the InstalFests, folks like Gus,
Carl, Niel, and Jim could probably make a much longer list than most,
but if you are interested in teaching any part of Linux, send it. We
might be able to work it in, even if it isn't strictly "basic," so
long as it can be presented as a clear howto or demonstration.
