No. Not at all.
A) It's a *damn* small form factor. Much smaller than a laptop and his
comment was a notebook/PDA thing. This is effectively a full computer
in a slightly larger than PDA form factor.
B) It has built-in Edge network support (no external card)
C) It has 48GB of flash as a hard drive substitute.
Prices go up exponentially for smaller size decrements when you get to
the smallest computers. That's how it works.
