Nah, from the linux machines at work. I haven't installed an automounter (yet), on the reasoning that if you have to bring up an xterm to mount the drive, they'll MAYBE remember to umount it before they yank it out of the machine. I just now wondered if there was a tool that, instead of mounting the flash drive automatically, would pop a dialog box: "Flash drive detected. Mount on /media/flash? [No] [Mount]" -- and if mounted, would change to "Un-mount flash drive [Unmount]". -- There's probably a tool that does that already. Written in perl. Using Qt.
