I'm assuming you mean conflicting interests held by two different
people, and I disagree.  The meat and potatoes of ethics is about the
decisions you make when you're alone.  Whether actually alone, or just
alone in your thoughts.

Also, I don't agree that ethics only covers situations where more than
one person is involved.  I think ethics covers any decision you make,
including decisions about your own mind and body.
