Black ink only, I presume.

Absolutely straight, or would a single 90-degree or 180-degree turn be
all right?
Straight for single sheets, or from a feeder bin?

Find an old HP DeskJet 500. Unfortunately, I just sent two of them to
the recycling drive last month. Maybe a DJ550, but not much newer
than that, because the construction quality started downhill.
The HP Business Inkjet 1200 is pretty good. Ink is not as cheap as
the DJ500, and the printer does Cyan Magenta Yellow blacK. (CMYK).
