pdf2ascii would not be a binary.  It would be more like a shell script
to invoke Ghostscript with the appropriate command string.  But it
does not seem to exist.

You could chain pdf2ps and ps2ascii.  No guarantee of success.

I think Adobe has an on-line pdf2ascii converter.  You send the file
to them, they send back the translation.
