My two year Sprint contract is up now and I plan to get a new phone. I'd like to get a PDA / smart phone. Y'all have any recommendations? It's my first!
What're the advantages of Palm / Windows / BlackBerry / ?? I'm not getting Windows; I'm a zealot. The BlackBerrys all say that I have to sign up for a $40/month data plan. I'm assuming that's on top of a voice plan, which is another $40. That's too much money for me. The BlackBerry Pearl looks nice, but the UI makes me nervous. The Palm UI looks nice, but a friend said his Palm was too power hungry and kept burning a hole in his pocket. I'm not sure if that's just FUD. (and that's how FUD works...) But the Treo is attractive. Anyway, I just want calendar, contacts, calculator, phone, and the like. I don't want Internet. GPS would be nice, and I'd kind of like to have bluetooth.
