I've never used PalmOS on a smartphone, but I owned three different Palm PDAs over the course of about seven years. I love the OS, though I don't use it anymore (index cards suffice for recording things on the go). Be careful with installing software willy-nilly on the Palm; I'm pretty sure the reason I went through so many is that I ran them into the ground with all my constant tinkering. > Anyway, I just want calendar, contacts, calculator, phone, and the > like. I don't want Internet. All that stuff is served *very* well by Palm. > GPS would be nice, and I'd kind of like > to have bluetooth. I have no idea about about the GPS capabilities of modern Palm devices, but they pretty much all have bluetooth. -- Brad Beyenhof http://augmentedfourth.com I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use. ~ Galileo Galilei, astronomer and physicist (1564-1642) -- [email protected] http://www.kernel-panic.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/kplug-list
