My wife and her homeschooling friends were miles ahead of this on the day the story broke. Basically the media blew something out of proportion to sell content. No new laws were made. No legislative action was taken. All that happened is that a judge decided that because 2 kids in a nutty family were being abused that all homeschoolers in the entire state should pay for that. I'd love to ask him if he is also willing to make public schooling illegal in the next 5 minutes when a student is abused or shot at in a public school somewhere to be consistent.
