The $399 Cloudbook is quite a bit smaller
Smaller? Wow. They are both still not quite my ideal although the EEE is close. The biggest problem with the EEE is the keyboard. I still can't quite type on it. I think my ideal laptop would have a keyboard the same dimensions as the Happy Hacker Keyboard and would have a screen of the same size. Short but wide. I can handle scrolling down but sideways scrolls sucks. The thing would fold exactly in half. I currently only use my Eee for occasional web browsing and email checking. If the keyboard were more type-able it would be capable of so much more. It is still an amazing machine and I am glad that hundreds of thousands of people have already been introduced to Linux with it. I am also curious to see how the XP version compares. I am betting it won't be able to do as much as the Linux version due to resource usage and lack of support for the hacked down XP install.
