I'm looking at a machine (Dell PE 1950 running RHEL4u5) that has no network connectivity. I've checked the usual suspects... made sure that the configuration for each interface matches the physical interface and its crossconnect to the proper switch, hardware addresses, iptables, ARP entries. It can ping it's own IP address, but cannot get out on the network at all, from any interface. The Ethernet interfaces are detected properly and the correct drivers are being loaded. There is no sign of trouble whatsoever, other than the fact that it does not work :-)
