I don't think it was a bad idea. It's just that we need to consider all
the stakeholders, no?

Also, "It Depends" (tm) on how you define newbie. For every subject,
somebody is a newbie; everybody is noobish about somethings.

And, keeping up some minimal attraction for rank-newbies strikes me as
essential for keeping any organization like ours from dying of old age.
