I can say that after using M$ Outhouse for over two years at QUAKE (only when I had to), I never could get a handle on the way it quoted. It basically sucked and was very difficult to deal with, especially if I wanted to intersperse my responses with the quoted text. Sometimes Outhouse would quote, sometimes not, and other times it would not do it correctly.
