I have also found that google's web crawlers, and, therefore, adsense ads can't be seen on web pages with IDs, such as ../category.php?id=19, without deliberate action on my part. This allows me an easy way to create ad-free space on my web site. Now if I can just figure out how to get the ads consistently relevant to my site content. I'm still experimenting with adsense and haven't found it to be too bad, but neither has it generated any revenue yet.
