that's what I figured and BTW, that MSFT junk was in response to a comment
made to my comment about Microsoft losing money on everything outside of
the Windows monopoly and who silly it was for stock holders to think there
would be great value from selling out to Microsoft.

I've not looked at what Icahn does or has does but I figure he does this kind
of thing all the time. Maybe existing YHOO shareholders have little say if he
can purchase over 50% stake. It doesn't matter since I was commenting on
his letter was mentioned shareholder value.

What crystal ball have you got?

I know a few who have and appreciated that I showed them how to set Google
as their default search engine. I do accept that the ignorance of population is
such that they take what's fed them and have no interest in changing what they
"know".

they atleast show signs of coming out with new products and concepts outside
of search and have actually made money off these. Unlike some other companies
we know. Sure seems like a better place to point the money instead of toward
dinosaur riding their moth eaten coattails of a bygone era.

WTF, there's no "almost", he said it in Feb 2008 only then it was Microsoft
behind the
potential proxy fight. A and B are obvious just from watching press coverage of
this:
