Mostly for Josh. I go through this maybe once a year.
To make PostgreSQL accept tcp/ip connections, I must: 1. add "-i" to the postmaster PGOPTS in the startup script 2. do some mojo in pg_hba.conf 1 is done and confirmed. 2 is eluding me. There may be a 3 or I may have 1 and 2 wrong. I own every postgres book on planet earth, and am constantly baffled on how difficult it is to find the answers to simple questions in them. It must be me. -- Lan Barnes SCM Analyst Linux Guy Tcl/Tk Enthusiast Biodiesel Brewer -- KPLUG-List@kernel-panic.org http://www.kernel-panic.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/kplug-list
