hmm, phpbb2 with read access by all and write/login by the 6-10? I'll
have to look at it more closely but I believe phpbb2 will do this kind of
thing.

IMO, the average Joe/Joy is going to find a wiki strange to traverse for a
reference and a search interface doesn't work for article browsing. Threaded
forums like phpbb2 are quite approachable.
