I didn't want it, but I have it.

Long story short, I made a deal with a client for a new PC in exchange for work to be done. The PC has Vista on it, which I suppose is good for gaming. Of course I'd like to have Linux on it.

Can a box be dual-booted with Linux and Vista? If so, how about if Vista has already been installed? What if it takes the entire drive?

It's a nice machine worth a couple days of full time work:

Core 2 Duo (5600? I forget and it's not plugged in so I can't look).
4GB DDR2
NVIDIA 9600GT 512MB SLI video card
250GB SATA II

What a shame to ruin a good box with Vista. Putting Linux on it as well might make it feel better. ;)
